PALATE - Juicy and bright from the first sip, red plum and cherry carrying genuine freshness, blood orange adding a lively citrus edge that keeps everything singing. Bitter herbs and leafy spice thread through the mid-palate, earthy savouriness grounding the fruit without dulling it. The tannins are soft and accommodating, the acidity lively and palate-cleansing - medium-bodied, food-friendly, and completely unwilling to be boring.

NOTES - Sangiovese has spent centuries making itself indispensable at the Italian table. In Beechworth's High Country it has found, it turns out, an equally compelling reason to exist.
