1. Pinot Noir 2025 (Adelaide Hills) Bright red fruits open the palate before plum and black cherry take over, darker and more deliberate. Natural acidity and fine tannins carry everything with quiet purpose, savoury oak completing the picture without crowding it. Medium-bodied and silky, the finish long and considered - the kind of wine that doesn't rush toward its own conclusion.

2. Tempranillo 2024 (McLaren Vale) Warm and generous from the first sip, red fruit and vanilla opening things up before earthy richness pulls everything deeper. The tannins are gritty and dry, the body medium to full, grapefruit adding an unexpected brightness that keeps it honest. The finish is long and sweet-edged, juicy at the very end like it can't quite help itself. No oak to speak of, just pure unguarded fruit doing exactly what it wants.

3. Cabernet Shiraz 2024 (Barossa) Soft and welcoming on entry, red currant and plum opening things up before the wine reveals its full hand - anise, vanilla, white pepper, and red fruit building through the mid-palate with genuine generosity. The texture is silky and balanced, the finish long and considered. Power and vinosity in equal measure, never at the expense of elegance. A wine that knows it was made for the table and delivers accordingly.

4. GSM 2022 (McLaren Vale) Grenache-Shiraz-Mataro. This dry medium bodied red is ruby in colour with beautifully integrated acid and smooth melting tannins. Savoury flavours of Thelma plum, wild raspberries and strawberry with spice of pepper collaborate with mouthfeel giving pleasure.

5. Shiraz 2022 (Heathcote) Deep purple in colour this medium to full-bodied red is dry and high in acid. There's the primary fruit character of plum and blackcurrant with the admiring brawn of bramble. Green pepper animates the palate along with some white pepper spice, smoke and the charm of vanilla.

6. Merlot 2023 (Heathcote) This medium bodied red is dry and ruby red in colour with unobtrusive yet proud acid. There's the charm of raspberry and the lingering loveliness of plum happy to play a supporting role. Herbaciousness adds spark to the fire while vanilla mellows. A crumb trail of chocolate renews perspective readying the palate for the next sip.
