Primary fruit characters of plum and blackcurrant with the admiring brawn of bramble, along with smoke and the charm of vanilla.
NOSE - There's pudgy plum that endears, blackcurrant wistfulness and arousing violet. There's also some smoke and scooped vanilla.
PALATE - Deep purple in colour this medium to full-bodied red is dry and high in acid. There's the primary fruit character of plum and blackcurrant with the admiring brawn of bramble. Green pepper animates the palate along with some white pepper spice, smoke and the charm of vanilla.
NOTES - Gather around the fireplace as the night closes in. This red inspires connection - to the self, to your nearest and to the simple nature of things. The spice and bramble combo on the palate couple with rounded fruit, delicate violet, and rich tannins makes this wine a clear winner.
