NOSE - Lifted blood orange and red candied fruit open with an immediacy that's hard to ignore, strawberry fairy floss and rose hip drifting in behind. Spice and wild fennel add intrigue beneath the brightness - more complexity than the welcoming exterior suggests.

PALATE - Soft red fruit leads with warmth and generosity, earthy savouriness and leather adding quiet depth that grounds the sweetness without dulling it. Wild fennel and pencil shaving thread through the mid-palate, vanilla bean and gentle spice rounding everything into something smooth, warm, and beautifully considered. The tannins are silky, the finish long and warming without ever feeling heavy.

NOTES - Grenache from Heathcote's famed Cambrian soils, ripened right out under warm days and cool nights, then made in the winery with one clear intention - a warm climate version of Pinot Noir. All the softness, the juicy red fruit, the respect for texture and tannin, none of the weight. Wild fermented, hand-picked, cellared and released at peak drinking. Only 2400 bottles made. The result is a Grenache that feels lighter and fresher than it has any right to, yet round and warm in all the right places. Fuller than Pinot, far more alive than most Grenache you've met. Pour it slowly. There's no rush to be anywhere.
