NOSE - Red berries, toffee apple, and marzipan open with easy charm, cherry and a whisper of chocolate cake close behind. A gentle savoury note from whole bunch stems keeps things honest, a flinty edge keeping them interesting.

PALATE - Soft and pillowy from the first sip, red plum and sour cherry carrying genuine juiciness, tomato leaf and light chocolate adding quiet depth beneath. A splash of co-fermented Chardonnay lifts the finish with bright citrus clarity - unexpected, and entirely welcome. Low alcohol, no sulphur, no filtration, no additions. Just fruit, fermentation, and very good instincts.

NOTES - Mostly Merlot, whole bunch fermented for seven days, with already-fermenting Chardonnay added mid-process, then topped with small amounts of Pinot Gris, Marsanne, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon before being left completely alone until bottling. Nothing added, nothing corrected, nothing taken away. Only 1200 bottles made. The result is a light, chillable red that drinks with the kind of effortless ease that takes genuine craft to achieve. Pizza, pasta, picnics, house parties, plans that go longer than expected - this is that bottle. The one that disappears first and leaves everyone wondering what it was.
