NOSE - Fresh citrus and orchard fruit, brioche warmth drifting through from bottle age. Clean, inviting, and surprisingly lively for a sparkling with nearly two decades behind it.

PALATE -  Fine bubbles carry crisp apple and pear through the mid-palate, a gentle yeasty complexity adding depth without weight. The finish is clean and refreshing - bright, balanced, and in no hurry to end.

NOTES - Peter Beckingham has been making sparkling wine from his Moorabbin winery with the precision of a chemical engineer and the instincts of a passionate craftsman. This 2007 Brut is museum stock - fruity, clean, and drinking beautifully now with just enough bottle age to add genuine complexity. A remarkable find at any price.
