NOSE - Red currant and plum lead with quiet richness, rum and raisin and cedar adding warmth and depth. Anise, vanilla, and white pepper drift through - inviting, generous, and already suggesting something worth sitting down for.

PALATE - Soft and welcoming on entry, red currant and plum opening things up before the wine reveals its full hand - anise, vanilla, white pepper, and red fruit building through the mid-palate with genuine generosity. The texture is silky and balanced, the finish long and considered. Power and vinosity in equal measure, never at the expense of elegance. A wine that knows it was made for the table and delivers accordingly.

NOTES - Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz have been conversation partners in the Barossa for generations - Cabernet providing structure and precision, Shiraz the warmth and depth that only this region seems to conjure so effortlessly. The 2024 vintage was one of the shortest and most challenging on record - just 46 to 51 days of intense harvest, a dry winter and spring forcing the vines to work hard for every grape. What came through was worth it: vibrant fruit, excellent tannin structure, and a fresh acidity that underpins everything. Wild yeast fermented, ten months in Hogsheads, the result is a wine of excellent depth and rich generosity. Bold, giving, and built to be shared over a long table with food worth lingering over. This is the Barossa doing what it does best. Pour generously. Take your time.
