A big hearted red that is sure to please.
NOSE - At first pop it's fruit cake before settling into ramblings of blueberry and ripe black cherry. There's also green peppercorns and sweet tobacco lingering in the background given the luxury of time to savour.
PALATE - Full bodied, robust and laden with luscious ripe blackberries, rich blueberries, hints of cedar and a dollop of liquorice. A touch of mocha, caressing vanilla and sweet tobacco have joined in the journey as the secondary flavours slowly begin to emerge. This is a rich, velvety red.
NOTES - This wine is a big bold crowd pleaser that captivates the senses and draws the attention. A symphony of rich fruit invites you to savour each mouthful. For those who enjoy a bolder red, this is the one that will grab you and represents great value at this price.
