PALATE -  Peach and nectarine lead with warmth and generosity, citrus pith and orange peel threading through the mid-palate with real precision. Creamy brioche and toasted almond add richness and texture, natural acidity keeping everything lifted and focused. The lees work is evident - a silky, rounded mouthfeel that builds gradually and lingers long. Rich, expressive, and considerably more layered than it first lets on.

NOTES - Hand-picked from Flinders vines, whole-bunch pressed, fermented in new and seasoned French oak with daily lees stirring for the first month and intermittent stirring beyond. Twelve months on lees, unfined, unfiltered, and bottled with the kind of patience that shows. This is Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay at its most textured and expressive - stone fruit, citrus, nougat, and cream, all held together by the natural acidity that has become something of a signature here. Structured to age gracefully over the next 5 to 10 years. Drink it now and marvel at what it already is. Cellar it and wonder what it might become.
