NOSE - Bright red cherry and wild strawberry, lifted and perfumed, darker notes of blackberry, clove, and spice waiting quietly underneath.

PALATE - Bright red fruits open the palate before plum and black cherry take over, darker and more deliberate. Natural acidity and fine tannins carry everything with quiet purpose, savoury oak completing the picture without crowding it. Medium-bodied and silky, the finish long and considered - the kind of wine that doesn't rush toward its own conclusion.

NOTES - Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir requires a particular kind of patience - not reluctance, just an understanding that the best things arrive in their own time. This is still a young wine, vibrant and approachable now, but there is nonetheless something here still gathering, still deciding what it wants to become. Five to ten years will tell a different story. A deeper one. The power and the poise are already present - the rest is just patience. Pour a glass now if you must. Be sure to set some aside because it will be worth the wait.
