NOTES - Eden Valley sits high above the Barossa - 400 to 600 metres, rocky acidic soils, abundant winter rainfall, cooling breezes that slow the growing season and concentrate everything worth keeping. This is what that place tastes like. Pure, precise, and unmistakably itself. Riesling at this altitude and from this terroir is built to age - the fruit and acidity in perfect balance now, the mineral complexity only deepening with time. Drink it young for its brightness, or cellar it and watch it become something else entirely. Either way, the high country has done its work. All you have to do is pour. This is from a vineyard who consistently delivers great quality Riesling year in and year out. This vintage is no exception and will cellar for the next 6-8 years.
