Shiraz 2019, McLaren Vale SA
Too good not to share. This is a divine, velvety red.
NOSE - At first pop it's fruit cake before settling into ramblings of blueberry and ripe dark cherry. There's also green peppercorns and sweet tobacco lingering in the background given the luxury of time to savour.
PALATE - Full bodied, balanced and laden with luscious, ripe blackberries, rich blueberries, hints of cedar and a dollop of liquorice. A touch of mocha, caressing vanilla and sweet tobacco have joined in the journey as the secondary flavours begin to shine through with bottle age.
NOTES - Like so many of our wines, this wine was in quantity too small for the big online wine companies to be interested in, but their loss is our gain. This has been one of our in-house favourites since it arrived and we think it will be yours too.
VEGAN FRIENDLY - Like all of our wines, no animal products were used in the making of this wine.
