NOSE - Rich blackberry hovers above eucalyptus forest-floor aromas with earthy and underbrush notes.

PALATE - Full bodied with a ripe plushness at the core. Saturated with dark fruit and infused with thyme, licorice, black peppercorns and dried herbs through the middle. Finishing to a good length with firm, ripe tannins. With a flavour profile that is both different and appealing, this blend is a celebration of both varieties.

NOTES - Created at one of the Macedon Ranges premium vineyards with fruit sourced from their Bendigo vineyard. This wine has been made by one of Victoria's most celebrated wine families. Those from Melbourne will know it well and while we are unable to reveal who they are... the bottle will tell another story once it has arrived on your doorstep.

We are extremely grateful to have been allowed this tiny portion from the vineyard and while the label removal process was challenging, the end result was worth the effort. This wine comes highly recommended at this price.
