NOSE - Delicate aromas of lemon marmalade, frangipani, lychee, peach, melon and citrus rind.
PALATE - This wine drinks like a tale of two mountains. Gold in the glass, born from the meeting of Red Hill and Main Ridge fruit, it opens shy - the nose teasing rather than telling. Then the palate bursts forward with banana and tropical summer warmth, bright and generous. Beneath that sunshine lies a deeper voice: savoury, tertiary notes hinting at graceful evolution. Skin contact brings a gentle, tea-like texture while French oak adds quiet warmth. As it opens, the layers unfold slowly - a conversation between hills, time, and craft. Give her a moment… this is a wine that reveals herself beautifully.
NOTES - This wine is unique and exciting fusion of Chardonnay (Merricks North) and 2/3 Pinot Gris (Shoreham) Chardonnay 100% fermented on skins and macerated post ferment for 10 days. The Gris underwent an extended cool soak and partial fermentation on skins.

Fermentation and ageing in egg shaped vessels promoting palate texture, aromatic preservation and sustainable winemaking practices. A small portion of old French oak adds another dimension to the blend.
