PALATE - This example is deep yellow in colour. There is a coiled, brooding power here, with notes of melons, citrus, oatmeal, apricot, kernels, and nuts. It is tight, concentrated, and with a beguiling, creamy texture and delightful, supple palate. There is a fine line of acidity, driving the wine, which offers a lingering, finish, with power and intensity. Richly flavoured, gorgeous Chardonnay for drinking any time over the next 5 to 7 years.
NOTES - An utterly delicious Yarra, Chardonnay. The regions ability to be the jack of all trades when it comes to wine styles, sometimes causes us to forget just how spectacular Chardonnay from the region can be, and that it can happily sit alongside the best in the land.
