Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Coonawarra SA

NOSE - Licorice and blackcurrant leap first holding hands. Busty ripe plum give chase with eucalyptus and black pepper zip joining in the fun.

PALATE - This dry, medium bodied red is deep ruby in colour with fine placid, tannins. A trio of black.. plump black plums, blackcurrants and a handful black pepper. There's also an edge of flint and Coonawarra's familiar oaky characteristics delivering some wispy smoke and a smudge of vanilla.

NOTES - Treat yourself and your good chums to this little jewel. It won’t bomb your senses like other cab savs can. It has all the flavour boon without the flashing lights and sign posts. The time in the bottle adds the deliciousness of age with spice being the main attraction. A little breathing time will give this drop the chance to open up and share some inner wisdom.
