Chardonnay 2019, Coonawarra SA

NOSE - Racy green apple, soft white peach, along with a light throw of toasty oak to warm the olfactory and none-of-your beeswax. There's also some intoxicating butterscotch that sends the buds berserk.

PALATE - This dry white, pale lemon in colour is light to medium bodied and high in acid. There's an eruption of sliced green apple and grapefruit on the palate, gentle white peach, reciprocated minerality and hay fit for a manger.

NOTES - If you’re a lover of substance with a palate that appreciates the brawn of mineralogy then this boat is your ride. Although it has some oak, it knows its place and doesn’t whitewash the fruit. There’s also the bonus of age-tastiness that adds some rocking good times. We enjoyed exploring this white and planting our flag. Not your run-of-the-mill Chardy. Suited to the adventurer within.
