NOSE - Pale bright garnet in colour, the nose evolves to encompass aromas of red cherry, berry, rhubarb, and rose petals, tempered with spicy, sandalwood-like oak aromas.
PALATE - On the palate the rhubarb and strawberry fruit shine through, with a touch of pepper spice, tangy acid length and soft tannins culminating in a velvety mouthfeel with a lovely tannin structure and a hint of vanilla bean. This is an immensely drinkable red wine.
NOTES - This fruit driven pinot is the perfect choice for those looking for a light and easy drinking wine to enjoy as the warmer weather arrives. Versatile with food, it has enough bottle age to provide some extra interest for the purists, while the price point is perfect for those looking for a fantastic value pinot noir. A very enjoyable and easy drinking red.
VINIFICATION - Fermented naturally with 40% whole bunches and aged in 2 year old barrels for 14 moths before bottling.
VEGAN FRIENDLY - Like all of our wines, no animal products were used in the making of this wine.
